In April 2010 Radio City devoted three days of programming to highlight the work done at and raise money for three local hospices Zoe's Place, Claire House and Hope House. We raised around £50,000 for the hospices and all are reporting significant increases in interest from the public.
In January 2010 we cleared normal programming to provide Big Freeze reports. Our output included comprehensive news of which local schools were closed and updates on the roads and public transport.
