Dark Shadows
Based on the cult TV series, Tim Burton’s gothic horror ‘Dark Shadows’ charts the life of vampire Barnabas Collins (Johnny Depp) over three centuries. Accidentally freed from the tomb he was confined to by witch Angelique in 1752, he returns to 1972 Maine to find his once-grand estate has fallen into ruin along with his once-proud family. However, some things never change and Barnabus must once again battle monsters, witches and werewolves to regain his mastery of Colinwood Manor. ‘Dark Shadows’ also stars Michelle Pfeiffer and Eva Green
Piranha 3DD
The pre-historic school of blood-thirsty piranhas from 2010’s ‘Piranha’ are back in the water in ‘Piranha 3DD’. Presented in razor-sharp 3D, the comedy/horror antics continue as the anniversary of their Lake Victoria attacks arrives and the fearsome fish go hunting once again. This time, the cunning creatures use the town’s plumbing system to get to the biggest feeding frenzy of all: the newly-opened water park ‘Big Wet’ where swimmers find out that their entry fee buys them a ticket to terror. ‘Piranha 3DD’ stars Danielle Panabaker and Christopher Lloyd
How I Spent My Summer Vacation
Prison action thriller ‘How I Spent My Summer Vacation’ stars Mel Gibson as Driver; a criminal whose luck runs out, sending him south of the border and straight into the dangerous world of ‘El Pueblito’; a prison where the inmates are in control and gringo newcomers are fair game. Salvation comes in the unlikely shape of a 10 year old boy who knows the system inside out and shows Driver how to survive. ‘How I Spent My Summer Vacation’ also stars Peter Stormare (Lockout) and Dean Norris (Total Recall)
