How did you get into radio?
I started work experience at
If you weren’t on the radio what would you be doing?
Most likely something to do with fashion or make-up - before I got into journalism I wanted to either be a make up artist on tv / films, or work in the wardrobe department, again in tv or films. I'd also like to be a buyer or a stylist because I love clothes and shoes. Doesn't every girl!
What would you regard as your greatest achievement yet? I was honoured to present the Vodafone Live Awards from
What’s the best story you’ve ever reported on?
I wouldn't say the best in terms of most enjoyable, but covering Rhys Jones' murder was without doubt the most powerful story I have reported on. I spent the best part of a week virtually living in a car in Croxteth and I was moved to tears a number of times by the sheer emotion of the story, but I felt the coverage we as a team gave the tragedy, was second to none, and I was immensely proud to be a part of it.
If you were given the power to pass one law right now what would it be?
I'm far too irresponsible to pass laws!
What’s your favourite thing about the city? Arrr where do I start...from a work point of view, there is always something going on here - it's very rare you're short of a good news story working here. And personally, we have a great nightlife, restaurants, shops etc - and I think there's a real sense of community in
How would you describe
What’s your favourite memory of the city? There's so many memories for me here I wouldn't know where to start! Probably some wins at Goodison, some nights out, and making some brilliant friends. Also - this was most certainly not a "favourite" memory, being an Everton fan! - but I will never forget seeing Liverpool FC's homecoming after their Champions League win in 2005. Watching people scale lampposts and run across the roof of the
If you couldn’t be in
Do you have any guilty pleasures?
Some in the office would say being an Everton fan is a guilty pleasure ha! But I am very proud of my devotion to the Blues! I don't really hoard any embarrassing collections or anything except Everton tickets and programmes ha...probably my shoe collection would may me feel a bit guilty if I added up how much it cost!
Four words to describe yourself...
I haven't a clue...I'm a bit of a chamelion I change every day
How do you like to relax?
I would say watching Everton but it's rarely a relaxing experience ha! Just being with friends, family, shopping, dancing, socialising, meals out, the usual!
What bands / acts are you into?
I like a bit of everything, from rock to soul, dance to motown, depends what mood I'm in! I love acts like Oasis (old Oasis) and the Stone Roses classics though, or Foo Fighters, but I'd be equally as happy at a Chemical Brothers gig.
What was the last album you bought?
One of Amy Winehouse's old ones, "Frank".
If we’re talking football, who would you rather see lift silverware? Four words...Nil Satis, Nisi Optimum
