How did you get into radio?

I did a degree in broadcast journalism and decided I wanted to work in radio, so I did some work experience at a small station in Huddersfield, before being offered a job. After a couple of years I moved to Newcastle, before getting a job here in Liverpool.

If you weren’t on the radio what would you be doing?

Living in a lovely warm country doing odd jobs part time.

What would you regard as your greatest achievement yet?

Playing football at Anfield for my school when I was 11. A dream come true.

What’s the best story you’ve ever reported on?

Liverpool winning the FA Cup was pretty special. The city was buzzing that weekend, and it was great to be a part of it.

What’s your favourite thing about the city?

The humour.

How would you describe Liverpool?

A melting pot of culture, sport, and witty wisecracking. It's different from any other city in the UK. Unique.

What’s your favourite memory of the city?

Watching Liverpool win the champions league in 2005.

If you couldn’t be in Liverpool, where would you be?

Madrid or Barcelona.

If you were given the power to pass one law right now what would it be?

I'd introduce a three day week.

Do you have any guilty pleasures?

Not really, although I've become so obsessed with fantasy football that I've started dreaming about it, which is a little odd.

Kind, noble, powerful and good.

How do you like to relax?

Exercise and heavy drinking.

What bands / acts are you into?

The Cubical, Radiohead, Chemical Brothers, Rolling Stones.

What was the last album you bought?

In Rainbows – Radiohead.

Liverpool.
